Does this ATS checker guarantee my resume will pass?

What file formats are supported?

PDF and DOCX. Legacy .doc (Word 97–2003) is not supported — open in Word or Google Docs and save as DOCX or export as PDF.

Why does my PDF show zero extracted text?

Your PDF may be a scanned image, not real text. Use the optional OCR button to attempt text extraction, or rebuild your resume with real selectable text using ToolAdda's resume builder.

Do ATS systems auto-reject low scores?

Most ATS platforms do not auto-reject by score. They parse resumes, store fields, and rank candidates. Recruiters then search by keywords — matching those keywords matters more than a vanity score.

PDF or Word — which should I submit?

Submit PDF unless the employer asks for Word. Ensure your PDF contains real selectable text, not a screenshot or flattened image.
