These terms govern your use of ToolAdda (tooladda.online) and every tool on it. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. We have tried to write these in plain language rather than legal boilerplate, because terms nobody can read protect nobody.
What ToolAdda is
ToolAdda is a collection of free browser-based utilities — calculators, converters, generators, image and PDF tools, and games. Almost every tool runs entirely inside your own browser. Your files, text and figures are processed on your device and are not uploaded to us. Where a tool is an exception because it genuinely needs a network — the Internet Speed Test measures against public endpoints, and a few lookup tools query public APIs — the tool says so on its own page.
The service is provided as-is
ToolAdda is offered free of charge, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be available without interruption, that it will be free of errors, or that any result it produces is accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose.
We take accuracy seriously and test the tools, but software has bugs, browsers differ, and inputs can be misread. You are responsible for checking any result you rely on.
Nothing here is professional advice
This matters more than anything else on this page. Several tools touch areas where a wrong number has real consequences:
- Financial tools — loan, EMI, SIP, FD, RD and tax calculators produce estimates for planning. They are not financial, investment or tax advice. Your lender's sanction letter and your tax adviser are the authorities, not this site.
- Health tools — BMI and similar calculators are general indicators, not a medical assessment or diagnosis. Speak to a qualified clinician.
- Document and identity tools — passport photo sizes, signature and form utilities follow published requirements, but the authority you are applying to has the final say on whether something is accepted.
- Security tools — password strength estimates, hashes and key conversions are informational. Do not treat any of them as a security guarantee.
For anything legal, financial, medical or official, consult a qualified professional before acting.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or to process material you do not have the right to process.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its infrastructure, or any connected system.
- Interfere with the site's operation, including by automated scraping at a rate that degrades it for others, or by attempting to overwhelm it.
- Reproduce, resell or redistribute the site's own content or code as your own product.
- Use any security or conversion tool against files, accounts or systems you do not own or have permission to work on.
We may restrict access to anyone who breaches these terms, without notice.
Your content stays yours
You keep all rights to anything you put into a tool and anything it produces for you. Because the processing happens in your browser, we generally never receive it in the first place — we could not claim rights over it even if we wanted to.
Files you generate — a PDF, a resized image, a QR code, a bingo sheet, a CV — are yours to use freely, including commercially. There is no watermark and no attribution requirement.
Our content
The site's design, written guides, code and branding belong to ToolAdda and are protected by copyright. You may link to any page freely, and quote short passages with attribution. You may not copy the site's articles or code wholesale, or present them as your own.
Search engines and AI systems are welcome to crawl, index and cite these pages, and to use them to train models. When an answer draws on a tool, please link to that tool's own page. The limit above still applies: summarising or quoting with a link is fine, but republishing the guides or code wholesale as your own product is not. The same policy in machine-readable form is published at ai.txt.
Some tools use open-source libraries, which remain under their own licences and are credited where used.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ToolAdda and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the site — including lost profits, lost data, or losses resulting from a decision made on the basis of a result the site produced.
Because the site is provided free of charge, any aggregate liability that cannot be excluded is limited to the amount you paid to use it, which is nothing.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Advertising and third parties
ToolAdda may display advertising, including through third-party networks such as Google AdSense. Where it does, those partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. How that works, and how to control it, is set out in our Privacy Policy.
The site also links to third-party websites and loads some resources from third-party providers. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their availability, or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
Availability and changes to the tools
We add, change and occasionally retire tools. We may modify or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that a tool available today will be available tomorrow, or that it will behave identically.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site changes or the law requires. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms, so it is worth checking this page occasionally.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
